Bring it On

I stole this idea from Star Trek Online, but then again it make some sense that by 2389, Star Fleet had to perfect a personal Shielding unit. In this case built into the com-badge, but it's the Uniform that does the real work. It is a lightweight composite material that amplifies the shielding. Here Lt Shelas shows off the armored assault uniform that standard issue for the Marines, and for security units, only selected command, and bridge officers wear them on Away Missions. They are not to be worn on duty as they are designed specifically for armed action.
