The clock was ticking as the Guardians sprang into action. An echo of clapping from a single person is heard as they all stopped at the platform over the large water treatment tank for the city’s water supply. On one of the crossing gantries stood a sight that took all of them by surprise. It was Circe dressed as Amazonia complete as she was flanked on each side of her the 200 canisters with their tops removed, sitting close to the edge of the crossing platform. “Bravo, you are truly the last hope in this city, but unfortunately your revelation comes way too late!” She announces to the three guardians.

Gordon’s rage takes over as he glares at the evil temptress. “What have you done to Amazonia?”

“Amazonia is probably no more after Dercetis is done feeding on her. Even so, she is the least of your concerns. As you see, I have all her abilities as well as my own. There is no one left to stop me from achieving my revenge!”

Ryu realizes that a fight would not be in their best interest but if he could lure her away from the gantry, they could distract her while one of them remove the canisters from the gantry. “You know we can’t let you do that!”

Circe smirks as she lifts her wand in her right hand. “I can simply turn you all into ants or cockroaches, but that would be much too easy.” She then lowers the wand and tucks it into her belt. “Why don’t I show you what gods do to those who defy their will.”
