Heroine Prime 2: Chapter 12- Aftermath

The rubble left from the blast was a disjointed twist of concrete and steel. The black smoke of smoldering fires permeated the air as it looked as though the two were indeed done for. But then a pile of rubble shifts and then moves, then a single hand erupts from the rubble as the silver Gauntlet reveled that is was indeed Wonder Woman. As she digs out of the rubble, she brings up a beaten and battered Steve Trevor. His head was bleeding a bit, as he seemed once again punch drunk. He gazed at Wonder Woman with weary eyes as he said softly “Angel...” before blacking out.
